DELETED THE  NATIONAL EXAMINATION

This year, National Examination especially for senior high school are a mess. There are many problems that face to hold the examination. This Publics  feel disappointed to National Examination. From examination papers have a matter due distribution papers into many of provinces was late. The Government (Kemendikbud)  trust on PT. Ghalia which is processing  the papers such as printing and distribution. PT.Ghalia perfectly prints the papers yet and the distribution was delayed into many provinces, it caused 11 provinces of Indonesia must be postpone as Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, East  Borneo, South Borneo, Bali, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, and Gorontalo. It means that these provinces cannot held the examination. The examination would be held to next several days. The Examination extremely cluttered. So, are we still hope to National Examination? How benefit the National Examination?

First, I think that The National Examination needs to revision again. Year to year, holding the exam still cluttered  and appears many problems. If the exam are not benefit, it must be deleted because the problems that we face today are serious. The exam just disadvantage into students. Students must prepare long time before to face the exam, but when the exam is progressing, there are many problems. So,it will impact into students on their psychic and mental. The postponement make students dissapointed and getting drop. In many students, it will make they  feel hopeless and haven’t spirit again because they didn’t know when they have examination.  Second, when the students do their exam, there are any problem about the papers, the papers are not perfectly and the quantity of papers are less than they need. It show us that the examination still not good. Come to talk about  National Examination. Many figure publics  in the Indonesia suggest that it must be deleted because National Examination just to  measure school quality.

National Examination only to Mapping Quality Education.

National examination seems to have deviated from the original function for mapping education quality.  The result of te exam serves to know the level of quality of the school. So, it can be measured which should be improved. The exam should be a tool of diagnosis quality of schools and the quality of the education service to build the school, as well as the mirror of  Kemendikbud. Because in  practice, the exam has also become a test for determining graduation school. In fact, the exam will be deciding on selection universities.

National Examination to determine school graduation

National Examination are already perceived as a test to determine school graduation. This perception is natural, such as it is, the value of the exam  contribute 60% of the final value which then determine graduation. The exam test result means the end of the school. But too naive about expecting great results from a process that has not been good. The exam should not be hastily made a exam to determine school graduation. Kemendikbud and Education  Center all over Indonesia must ensure that all schools have the means of education and organization of the school budget. If school hasn't gotten sufficient means to conduct quality education, the exam  has not made a test to determine viable school graduation.

                 So, I recommended that National Examination must be deleted or Kemendikbud should give the best solution. Because when National Examination continues to held but problems that occur complexs increasingly. It will be worsen the quality of education in Indonesia. The Government should only use National examinations as a measure of the quality school. Even if next year there is still National Examination I hope the Kemendikbud will not repeat the same problems. The exam must be held really well.
